Virtual Tour: Tangled Art Exhibition
Missed out on our art exhibition ‘Tangled: ติด - ร่าง - แห’, in February in Bangkok? No problem! We got you covered with an exclusive virtual tour.
Tangled: ติด - ร่าง - แห’ highlights the devastating impact of marine plastic and discarded ghost nets on our ocean and marine wildlife using art installations and photographs. It featured four Thai artists whose work is inspired by these environmental issues. Narongyot Thongyu, Natalie Limwatana and Satit Raksasri, used marine plastic waste to create pieces of art that provoke solutions-focussed conversations around marine litter. Conservation photographer, photojournalist, and marine biologist, Sirachai (Shin) Arunrugstichai, showcased underwater images highlighting the impacts of ghost fishing gear and plastic waste on our fragile marine ecosystems. The exhibition was organised by Love Wildlife Foundation and the Environmental Justice Foundation with the support of 'Rethinking Plastics'.
